Title: Sent My check In and Help with Engine

Sent my 25% check in today and got the ball rolling on my new eclipse.  I can only find a 25" extra long shaft in a 6 hp Tohatshu .  I thought I read where they had them in 4 HP engines

It's a great motor. I have the same on one my 23.

Congrats!  Do you need 25"?  Yamaha is my fav ob.  4 hp or 6hp.

I believe I need a 25" or extra long shaft. I will probably wait til I get the boat before I order the motor. I have been in some situations where I needed that extra 5" inches.  I like Yamahas also. I had a 4 hp and it was a good motor.
