earlier, i mentioned that the lake was way down. well, after all the rain we received in the past three days it is way up so there wont be any concerns with low water at the CLR.
Steve if it keeps raining we will be using the high water ramp like we did two years ago.
i would imagine the lake should be down by clr time.
I made my reservations today at West Access Marina and the lady said the water was in their parking lot. Nobody can launch anything for the time being at the ramps. Getting excited about CLR.
They are opening the gates to 10K cfs, which will dump that water fast. To our benefit the 50th anniversary is prior to CLR, so they want that water to go away for that for sure!
I plan at the moment to attend the days I am off, but no guarantees on me getting that week off sadly. Still waiting on my Store manager to come back.

the lake is flooded but is falling steadily. there doesnt appear to be any debris of any size and i would say it will be good in two weeks. the marina building seems to be fine as well. i will probably sail first part of next week and will post a report after that
dont be put off. we have had conditions like this before and the clr was not affected. one thing no one will run aground
I have it on good authority that there may be a dingy race in the works. Dingy as in 8 feet or so, like the Walker Bay that I use as a tender. Of course, the rules are simple: Row, cheat and lie. See? Easy. See you there, ya bunch of fun lovin' wharf rats!!

the lake is almost back in banks. i was up there today and there were quite a few boats on the lake both sail and power. next Wednesday we are going to sail and i will give another update after that
