Title: Any Picnic Cats on the FL west coast?
Post by: hoddinr on April 04, 2017, 08:49:05 PM
Hugh Horton of Cedar Key is interested in the Picnic Cat, but would like a ride in one before buying.  Anyone up for that?

Ron,

I'll post this over on the Yahoo Picnic Cat Group as well to see if we have anyone in that area. Always fun to show off the boat to prospective owners!

Thank you Bruce.  If you get any hits, let me know, please.

Haven't had any offers, Ron, but I have learned of a used PC in Debary, FL. Looks to be about the same distance as Clearwater from Cedar Key. The current owner has posted that he can no longer handle the boat, always sad to hear, and may be why he didn't offer a test sail. I don't know the boat, except that he hinged the tiller as I had done, for piloting while standing.

Any interest and I'll let the owner know.

Yes, Bruce,

We'd be happy to have a look anywhere in Florida.

Thanks for letting him know.
